Abstract

The case study on the model school functioning at the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) highlights its significant role in supporting students with multiple disabilities within an inclusive setup. The model school encompasses various specialized units, including the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Unit, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Unit, Severe and Profound Multiple Disabilities (SPMD) Unit, Cerebral Palsy (CP) Unit, Deaf and Blind (DB) Unit, and the Transition Unit.
